The Republican National Guard (GNR) of Chaves arrested a 19-year-old man for drug trafficking on August 19.
During a patrol operation, the Guard’s officers noticed an individual exhibiting suspicious behavior.
“Following police procedures, a personal security search was conducted on the suspect, which revealed that he was in possession of narcotic substances, leading to his arrest,” the statement reads.
After the police investigation, the following items were seized:
– 37 doses of MDMA
– 12.08 doses of marijuana
– 7.04 doses of hashish
– 45 euros in cash
– A cannabis grinder
– A cutting knife and a storage pouch
The detained individual was formally charged, and the facts were reported to the Judicial Court of Chaves.
