With promotion in Portugal and Europe and considered the best national travel campaign in 2021, #WhereAreYouJoao is back with blogger João Cajuda.

The #WhereAreYouJoao campaign is back. After the great success of 2021, in which it won several awards in Portugal – namely Best Tourism and Travel Campaign at the Meios & Publicidade awards – Lagos once again bets on travel blogger João Cajuda to show the various valences that the county and the city have to offer.

The official film was released this Wednesday and is available on the www.whereareyoujoao.pt platform for viewing and sharing the best images of Lagos. The branding campaign also kicks off with a focus on social media and press.
romoted by the Municipality of Lagos, the campaign – which celebrates the “return” of João Cajuda to various corners and nooks of the county – aims to amplify the notoriety and recognition of the territory as a tourist destination of national and international reference. And that’s precisely the message, reinforced in the various images of this project, which illustrate Lagos and some of its valences: the beaches, nature and picturesque sceneries or even the culture and gastronomy. As for João Cajuda’s choice, it represents the way the municipality wants to be perceived: a quiet county, with great diversity of options and extremely photogenic, just like the destinations the blogger usually visits.

For Hugo Pereira, Mayor of Lagos, “this campaign is another sign of our commitment to promote and enhance Lagos from the unique experiences that we provide to people who visit us and that certainly, like João, can work as excellent ambassadors of the destination.
