Property has 80 family rooms, water park, movie theater and nightclub
With a concept where everything is aimed at children, Vila Galé Nep Kids was inaugurated and has, in the first phase, 80 family rooms – with capacity for two adults and two children. The development received an investment of 13 million euros and is located in Clube de Campo Vila Galé, near Beja, Portugal, a property where the group has two other units: Vila Galé Collection Monte do Vilar, for over 16 years old; and Vila Galé Alentejo Vineyards, a hotel dedicated to wine tourism, olive tourism, gastronomy and gastronomic and oenology experiences.
The Nep Kids property also has a water park with outdoor pools, a lake with pedal boats in the shape of unicorns and swans, a driving range, zip line, climbing walls, trampolines, carousel, movie and video game rooms, disco, toy library, playground, multi-sports, beach tennis and paddle tennis courts and decoration dedicated to the little ones.
With the theme of children’s tales, in each room you can listen to a story through a QR code. And there is a strong inspiration in Nep, the Neptune, who is the mascot of the kids clubs of Vila Galé hotels, associated with the protection of the seas and sustainability.
Partnerships were also made with different entities, such as the Volunteer Firefighters of Beja, the Carris Museum, the Portuguese Communications Foundation, the Military Museum of Elvas and the National Republican Guard (GNR), allowing Vila Galé Nep Kids to have a fire engine, an ambulance, a GNR jeep, a bus and a streetcar, all in real size, for children to play, in addition to a Post Office Museum.
There is a daily schedule of daytime and evening entertainment, with activities such as modeling, painting and textile workshops, karaoke or disco.
Vila Galé Nep Kids also offers a restaurant, Versátil, with a children’s menu with healthy options, NEP Menu with children’s menus, pizzas and pastas, among other options, and also the Fidelio Bar, in the shape of a hot air balloon, where children have the choice of non-alcoholic drinks such as Nep Bubbles (sparkling grape juice), Nep mocktails or fruit Mentiroskas; and the Motobar, by the pool.
