Several quakes recorded in recent days by IPMA.
Seismic activity has been recorded in recent days in mainland Portugal, with IPMA accounting for four quakes between Sunday and Monday.
At 10:16 pm on Sunday, IPMA announced that two earthquakes, one with a magnitude of 2.4 on the Richter scale and a second of 2.9 were recorded, at 10:16 pm and 10:24 pm, near Montemor-o-Novo. They did not cause personal or material damage.
In Peniche, at 01h44 on Monday, an earthquake of 3.0 was recorded. At 06h30, the Institute of Sea and Atmosphere counted a new quake, this time in Portimão, with a magnitude of 2.2.
