With the return of good weather, it seems that the dolphins have also decided to approach the Portuguese coast again, surprising sailors and bathers.
In a video shared by the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF) on social media, you can see several dolphins swimming along a beach in Tróia this weekend.
In the images, you can see that, as well as being surprised, the children who witnessed the moment were dazzled. One of the children even put his hands to his head, as if he couldn’t believe his eyes.
On Facebook, as well as revealing that the video was taken in Tróia, the ICNF emphasizes that this was an “involuntary observation” of Sado Bottlenose Dolphins.
Several dolphins were also spotted frolicking in the Sado at the beginning of April from a boat. The video was shared by the Facebook group Setúbal do Sado.
