Sebastian Steudtner is said to have set a new world record, but is still waiting for official confirmation.
German surfer Sebastian Steudtner may have set a new world record for the biggest wave surfed last February at Praia do Norte in Nazaré.
It was the German himself who posted the moment on social media on Friday, showing the dimensions of the wave he managed to surf on February 24, and is now awaiting official confirmation from the Guinness Book of World Records.
It’s worth remembering that in 2022 Sebastian Steudtner set the record for the biggest wave in the world, at 26.21 meters, which was made official by Guinness at the time.
