A source from the Central Alentejo Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command indicated that the alert for the accident, on Estrada da Chainha in the Bacelo neighborhood of Évora, was given at 8:47 PM.
The woman was transported to Évora hospital with serious injuries, according to the sub-regional command source.
A source from the National Directorate of the PSP (Public Security Police) specified that the elderly woman died at that hospital unit.
Thirteen operatives from the Évora fire department, the National Institute of Emergency Medicine, and the PSP were mobilized to the scene, supported by five vehicles, including the emergency and resuscitation medical vehicle (VMER) from Évora.
