Carris Metropolitana will launch a new service on Monday between Costa de Caparica and Pragal station, in the Setúbal district, the company announced today in a press release.
According to Carris Metropolitana, the new line will run 34 times on weekdays, 27 times on Saturdays and 26 times on Sundays.
“Line 3025 Costa da Caparica – Pragal (Station), via IC20, also stops at the Funchalinho and Filipa d’Água junctions, helping to increase Carris Metropolitana’s offer in the municipality of Almada,” it added.
The company also pointed out that this new connection favors intermodality between means of transport, speeding up the connection between Costa de Caparica and Pragal station “at the height of the seaside season”.
Carris Metropolitana is responsible for operating buses in the 18 municipalities of the Lisbon metropolitan area.
