It was with a picture of her shaving her hair that the 44-year-old actress revealed her state of health.
“One more ride on the merry-go-round… Keep going!”, wrote Diana Costa e Silva, 44, in the caption of a photo in which she shows herself shaving her hair, revealing that she is fighting cancer.
On social media and with apparent tranquility, the actress shared her state of health, taking followers and friends, including professional colleagues, by surprise. “Really? A big hug, Di,” reacted Paula Neves, while José Mata gave her “strength”, as did Benedita Pereira, to whom she is close. “Brave and beautiful”, praised Margarida Vila-Nova, in tune with Joana Seixas who described her as “always beautiful and strong”.

Diana didn’t give any details or even what stage she was at. In fact, the image she posted, as Confucius would say, was “worth more than a thousand words” and made it clear that she is already suffering the consequences of her treatment.
Her roles in soap operas such as “Santa Bárbara”, “Podia acabar o mundo” or “Jogo Duplo”, on TVI, made her known to the general public, but it is in theater that she has based her career.
She was on stage until March 27, at Boutique da Cultura – Um Teatro em Cada Bairro, in Lisbon, in the play “A Beleza das Empregadas Domésticas”, written and directed by Manuel Jerónimo. About the project, she said it was where she felt “whole and full of life”, when, as we can see now, she was already ill.
Discreet
Quite discreet, Diana doesn’t hide how fulfilled she is personally, preserving the names of her two children (the youngest is two years old) and her partner, who illustrate some of her Instagram posts.
It was with director José Fonseca e Costa, who is a friend of her family, that Diana Costa e Silva awoke to acting, making her debut at the age of 16 with a special appearance in the movie “Cinco Dias, Cinco Noites”.
More seriously, in 1997, he took part in the series “Riscos” (RTP), before going to the United States to study. He returned to Portugal and enrolled in the Actors Training Course at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, receiving his first major television role in the SIC series “O Espírito da Lei” (The Spirit of the Law).
