The Air Force monitored four Russian-flagged ships that crossed the Continental Exclusive Economic Zone during this Friday.
According to the organization, these were “a refueling ship, a submarine, an auxiliary ship, and a training ship.”
“The monitoring mission, which lasted more than three hours, took place during a fishing activity inspection operation,” the Air Force added in a statement.
The same note detailed that the Air Force aircraft monitored the refueling ship Vice-Admiral PAROMOV “when it was transiting South-North,” while “the Novorossiysk Submarine and the auxiliary ship Evgeniy Churov were transiting North-South.”
“Also during the mission, the training ship KRUZENSHTERN was detected transiting North-South,” it reads.
The Air Force also emphasized that, this year alone, it has already dedicated more than 60 hours to monitoring foreign ships. Out of a total of 17 missions, three were carried out this week.
