The Kalorama festival is returning to Lisbon on Thursday, and traffic will be restricted starting from the morning. Whether you’re planning to go by car or on foot, there will be restricted areas from 8 AM on the festival days, which run from August 29 to 31.
According to the organizers, about 25,000 people are expected each day, which has led the City Council, Public Security Police (PSP), and Marvila Parish to take several measures to minimize traffic disruptions, ensure safety conditions, and facilitate arrival at the festival.

For better mobility, the PSP recommends:
– Avoid parking your vehicle in unauthorized areas
– If you need to use a car, prioritize available public parking lots in the vicinity
– Make sure the routes you usually use are not restricted to car traffic
– Check alternative routes in advance
– Use existing public transportation and those available to support the event
The PSP will try to minimize the impacts of these constraints, ensuring safety needs and road traffic in the affected areas.
