A 34-year-old man was arrested in the act on suspicion of drug trafficking in the Loures area of Lisbon.
Public Security Police (PSP) agents were “executing a home search warrant” when, upon entering the residence, they “caught the suspect in the act of preparing narcotic substances for subsequent sale to consumers,” according to a statement from the Lisbon Metropolitan Command of the PSP (Cometlis).
Following police investigations, the following items were seized: “775 euros in banknotes, 316.4 doses of cocaine, 20.40 doses of hashish, a precision scale, ammonia, a pot and cutlery, scissors, and several rolls of plastic bags.”
The suspect was then detained at the Cometlis police station to be presented before a judge for the first judicial interrogation, where he was subsequently ordered to “report weekly” to the authorities as a precautionary measure.
