Musicians Bárbara Tinoco, Miguel Araújo and André Sardet will perform in Praia da Vitória, in the Azores, in the third edition of Unique Concerts, which runs from December 2024 to April 2025, the City Council announced today.
“For the third time, we are giving continuity to an event that has already established itself on the regional scene, by guaranteeing the presence of national and local artists in an intimate setting that only the Ramo Grande Auditorium can provide,” said the president of the Prairie municipality at a press conference to present the third edition of the initiative.
The Concertos Únicos 2024/25 festival will feature musicians Bárbara Tinoco, Miguel Araújo and André Sardet, who will perform at the Ramo Grande auditorium on December 7, February 1 and April 5, 2025, respectively.
“This is a way of showing how good culture can be made in Praia da Vitória and that’s why we embrace this project with great conviction,” said Mayor Vânia Ferreira.
The Councillor for Culture highlighted the importance of the event for Praia da Vitória to establish itself as a “musical cultural destination” during the low season.
“We want Praia da Vitória to be recognized as a leading musical cultural destination in the low season too. This event complements the cultural diversity of events that take place throughout the year,” said Paula Sousa.
The municipality also points out that the first part of the concerts will feature “emerging local artists, whose names will be revealed shortly”.
Tickets will go on sale from Friday on the Blueticket platform or from next week at the Terceira Island Youth and Arts Academy.
