2 million in ambulances have already been donated to various corporations
The Fire Brigade of Vila Praia de Âncora, in the municipality of Caminha, has received a new rescue ambulance offered by a deceased benefactor couple, through their executor’s lawyer.
José Francisco Brás and Antónia Brás left their entire fortune to the Brás Foundation, which has distributed equipment to various corporations across the country.

It is recalled that, just last week, O MINHO had reported that the benefactors had offered a new ambulance to the Monção Fire Department. Something that had already been done last year.
“This donation meets its mission and commitment to civil society,” says the Vila Praia de Âncora corporation.
He adds: “The League of Portuguese Firefighters, under a proposal formalized by the Direction of the Humanitarian Association, recognized this act and awarded the medal of Distinguished Services – Gold Degree, posthumously, to the benevolent couple represented by Dr. Luís Borges Rodrigues”.
