Carris will reinforce its service on New Year’s Eve and make adjustments from Saturday until January 2, adapting the offer to the reduction in demand during this period, the company announced today.
In a statement, the transport company, managed by Lisbon City Council, explains that it will reinforce the Rede da Madrugada service from 00:00 on New Year’s Eve (December 31 to January 1).
Reinforcements will take place at Cais do Sodré (201 to Algés and 202 to Sete Rios), Rossio (207 to Lumiar and 736 to Senhor Roubado) and Santa Apolónia/Cais da Lingueta (210 and 728 to Oriente Station).
The reinforcements, according to Carris, will have departure times and destinations “managed according to demand at each location”.
Also according to the company, the regular offer of the Madrugada Network will also be fully operational, limited only by some traffic cuts around Praça do Comércio or other places in the city that may be defined by the authorities.
Between Saturday and January 2nd, there will also be service adjustments, with the timetable for August Saturdays, public holidays or summer timetables being in force on each day, including the suspension of some routes.
