The Portuguese Sea and Atmosphere Institute (IPMA) today issued a yellow warning for the islands of the Central Group of the Azores due to forecasts of “sometimes heavy rainfall”, starting in the evening.
According to the IPMA, the warning for the islands of Terceira, São Jorge, Pico, Graciosa and Faial is valid between 20:00 local time (21:00 in Lisbon) today and 17:00 local time (18:00 in Lisbon) on Saturday.
