CERV Program has five new calls underway

The CERV support program currently has a total of eight calls for applications for projects in areas such as combating racism or promoting European rights and values.

The CERV – Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values program has opened five new calls for applications to fund projects in different areas.
In addition to the current set of calls for proposals, there is now a call for proposals to Protect EU values and rights by fighting hate speech and hate crime; Support the creation of an enabling environment for the protection of whistleblowers; Promote rights and values by empowering civic space; Promote capacity building and awareness on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights; and Promote capacity building and awareness on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights among civil society organizations.
Last December, calls for proposals for funding were launched for projects to prevent and combat gender-based violence and violence against children, and to promote equality and combat racism, xenophobia and discrimination. More recently, applications have been opened for projects in the area of city networks.
CERV has an allocation of €1.55 billion for the 2021-2027 cycle to financially support projects and actions with specific objectives in the ‘Union Values’, ‘Equality, Rights and Gender Equality’, ‘Citizen Involvement and Participation’ and ‘Daphne’ strands.
The Ministry of Justice is the entity designated by the European Commission as the National Contact Point for the program. All application notices are published on the CERV website.
