Between April 5 and today, CTT bought 100,000 of its own shares and now holds 4.46% of its share capital, the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) was informed.
“CTT – Correios de Portugal informs that, in the period between April 5 and 11, 2024, BPI acquired 100,000 shares representing CTT’s share capital, under the company’s share buyback program and as financial intermediary in charge of its execution,” reads the statement sent to the market.
As part of its buyback program, the Post Office has so far acquired 5,038,686 securities for a price of 18,027,875 euros.
CTT thus holds an accumulated total of 6,416,818 own shares, representing 4.46% of its share capital.
In today’s stock market session, CTT shares rose 0.92% to 4.40 euros.
