Secret Story is returning to Portuguese television this Sunday, and the elderly residents of the Centro Social de Carvalhosa didn’t miss the opportunity to mark the occasion.
As has become customary, the managers of this senior center decided to take advantage of TVI’s programming to liven up their residents’ day, making them the stars of another production that is going viral on social media.
This one features Fátima Úria, and the social center claims it’s “the best-kept secret” ever. They’re referring to the fact that the 89-year-old woman is one of the invited contestants to participate in the reality show hosted by Cristina Ferreira.
Fátima, who says she’s a single soul, promises to be “relentless,” and if she wins, she already knows what she’ll do with the prize: “I’m going to invite my little friends from the center to go to Las Vegas and make a TikTok.”
The video, which already has almost 900 shares and hundreds of comments, is making waves on social media, where many praise the creativity of the social center. “Oh man, this center deserves an award! What a treasure!” says one internet user.
It’s worth noting that the social center located in Paços de Ferreira has a habit of taking advantage of current events to create playful situations with their residents. The last such instance featured the story of romantic encounters at Mercadona.
