Nobody matched the winning key for the 040/2024 Euromillions draw, which took place this Friday. However, there is good news for one player who registered his bet in Portugal, as he won a second prize, worth over 306 thousand euros.
In total, according to information available on the Jogos Santa Casa website, there were two bettors – one of whom was from Portugal – who matched the combination of five numbers and a star and took home a prize of 306,136.58 euros.
Three foreign punters matched all five numbers and won the third prize, taking home a prize of 47,699.44 euros.
Next Tuesday’s jackpot will be 26 million euros.
Remember that, in Portugal, prizes of more than 5,000.00 euros are subject to stamp duty, at the legal rate of 20%, under the terms of the legislation in force.
