A fire broke out near “Águas de Gaia” today at 16:30 local time in Portugal. Firefighters arrived at the scene with impressive speed, managing to reach the location within 5 minutes of the report, and were able to bring the fire under control.
During the incident, an elderly man was evacuated and taken to receive medical treatment in an ambulance. Additionally, damage was caused to a building, and a hole was created in the roof as a result of the fire.
Thanks to the quick response of the rescue teams, the incident ended with no further casualties. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the outbreak of the fire.
