2003 marked the beginning of his legal career, which he began after graduating from the Faculty of Law at the University of Lisbon in 2000 with a degree in legal-economics.

Between 2005 and 2008, he led the Office of the Secretary of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of the XVII Constitutional Government. From 2009 to 2013, he served as Counselor at the Permanent Representation of Portugal (REPER) to the European Union.

 

From October 2018 to August 2020, she led the Prime Minister’s Office for the XXI and XXII Constitutional Governments.

 

Between 2020 and 2022, he served as Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in the XXII Constitutional Government.

 

Between September and December 2020, he also served as the Permanent Representation of Portugal to the OECD’s Chief Technical Advisor.
