The section between Calçada da Palma de Baixo and Av. das Forças Armadas will be closed to traffic.
FromMay 8th, the Estrada das Laranjeiras, in the section between Calçada da Palma de Baixo and Av. das Forças Armadas, will be closed to road traffic.
According to the Lisbon City Hall, the works, which are part of the requalification of the exterior spaces of Praça Marechal Humberto Delgado, are expected to take place over a five-month period.
The changes in road traffic and respective detours are as follows:
Sete Rios direction – Traffic coming from the North/South Axis (Telheiras – A2 South) and Av. Lusíada (Benfica – Santa Maria Hospital) should use the North/South Axis and exit to Sete Rios or Av. dos Combatentes and the Laranjeiras Road.
Traffic coming from Estrada da Luz should use rua Abranches Ferrão to access the North/South Axis.
Laranjeiras Road direction – Traffic coming from Eixo Norte/Sul (A2 Sul – Telheiras), Av. das Forças Armadas (Entrecampos – Sete Rios) and Estrada das Laranjeiras (Av. dos Combatentes – Sete Rios) should use the North/South Axis and exit to Rua São Tomás de Aquino and Estrada da Luz.
