“I’m excited to bring the flavors of my country to the world with the launch of my very own Chicken Sandwich, inspired by one of my favorite dishes, the Milanesa,” says Lionel Messi. “There is no better partner than Hard Rock International to bring this project to life. Like any great teammate, it has been with me at historic milestones and I can’t wait for all my fans around the world to try one of my favorite foods that still makes me feel at home wherever I am.”

Marian Fitzgerald, general manager of Hard Rock Cafe Lisboa, added: “On behalf of our team, we can’t wait for customers to sample this iconic new offering, which is sure to be another fan favorite.”

Hard Rock Cafe opened its first location in London, England, in 1971. The brand then expanded to cities around the world, such as Miami, Paris, Sydney, New York, Los Angeles or Lisbon. It always has a restaurant space with burgers in the spotlight, but also a store with various merchandising items, most related to the musical style that gives the restaurant its name.
