On August 18, the Republican National Guard (GNR) named a 60-year-old man as a suspect for counterfeiting in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia.
As part of an inspection operation during the popular festival of Nossa Senhora da Saúde (Our Lady of Health), GNR officers located a stand where 54 pairs of counterfeit glasses from various well-known brands were being sold.
According to the statement, “it was determined that the suspect did not possess any documents proving the origin of the material, resulting in the seizure of the items.”
The facts were reported to the Judicial Court of Vila Nova de Gaia.
