Marisa Liz, Buba Espinho and Nino Vaz Maia are this year’s headliners for the Loures county festivities, which take place between July 12 and 28, according to the poster released by the city council.
The festivities in the municipality of Loures, in the district of Lisbon, will take place in two different periods, in Sacavém between Friday and Sunday and in the county seat between July 25 and 28.
The festivities kick off on Friday in Sacavém with a performance by Marisa Liz, starting at 10pm, in Rua da Mina de São Domingos.
On Saturday, a concert by Cape Verdean singer Soraia Ramos will take place in the same place and at the same time.
On Sunday, the funk and soul band HMB will take to the stage, also from 21:00.
In the city of Loures, three stages will be set up (Loures stage, youth stage and worlds stage), highlighting the musical performances of Buba Espinho (July 25), Nininho Vaz Maia (July 25), Noite M80 (July 26), Raquel Tavares (July 27) and Victor Kley (July 28).
As well as concerts, the program of festivities for the 138th anniversary of the founding of the municipality, with free admission, includes sports and cultural activities, such as painting, exhibitions, street fairs, gastronomy and children’s workshops.
