On Monday, the Lisbon metro will start running six-wagons trains on the green line, between Campo Grande and Cais do Sodré, and four-car trains on the yellow line, between Odivelas and Campo Grande.
The company said today in a press release that it is bringing forward the running of trains on these lines to Monday, “following the effort made by the company to adopt measures as part of the work being carried out at Campo Grande station”.
“Thus, from June 12, Metropolitano de Lisboa will start running six-wagons on the green line, on the section between Campo Grande and Cais do Sodré (Telheiras station remains closed) and will start running four-wagons trains on the yellow line, on the section between Odivelas and Campo Grande”, the statement said.
According to the company, traffic on the yellow line with four-wagonss will continue, for technical reasons, gradually until June 17. The section between Cidade Universitária and Rato will continue to operate with six-car trains.
“These are two measures already announced, the main aim of which is to alleviate the inconvenience caused to customers by the work underway at Campo Grande station. Normal traffic on the yellow and green lines will resume at 6:30 a.m. on July 08, 2023, as already announced, with six-wagons trains on all lines,” he adds.
