MSC Cruises received last Thursday, July 6, another award as “Best Cruise Line” in the Publituris Portugal Travel Awards 2023, the seventh consecutive time it has won this prize.
The award ceremony took place in Alcobaça and distinguished once again MSC Cruzeiros, among 174 nominees in 22 categories, having been elected based on a weighted average of the jury’s votes (45%) of the subscribers of Publituris /(45%) and the subscribers of the daily newsletter (10%).
The 18th edition of the Publituris Portugal Travel Awards 2023 is intended to reward the best companies, hotels and accommodations, institutions, services and professionals that stood out in the tourism sector during 2023.
MSC Cruises, the contemporary brand of the Cruise Division of the MSC Group, is the third largest cruise brand in the world, as well as the leader in Europe, including Portugal, in South America, in the Gulf region and in Southern Africa with more market share as well as more capacity than any other brand in these regions. It is also the world’s fastest growing cruise line, with a strong presence in the Caribbean, North American and Far Eastern markets.
The fleet has 22 modern ships along with a considerable future global investment portfolio for new ships and is set to grow to 23 cruise ships by 2025, with an option for six ship orders currently in place, by 2030.
MSC Group’s Cruise Division recently announced that it will now market Explora Journeys and MSC Cruzeiros under the same market structure in Portugal. The luxury brand will begin operating in 2023 with a fleet featuring the latest and most advanced environmental and maritime technologies available.
