NOS’ profit rose 84.6% in the first half of the year to 148.6 million euros, incorporating non-recurring effects, while without them the figure stands at 95.4 million euros, the company announced today.
In a statement, NOS said that net income stood at 148.6 million euros in the first six months of the year, which represents a year-on-year increase of 84.6%, incorporating “non-recurring effects totaling 53.1 million euros”, and that “without this effect, NOS’ results would stand at 95.4 million euros, an increase of 18.6% compared to the same period in 2023”.
In the period under review, consolidated revenues “grew by 5.2% to 815.5 million euros” and telecommunications revenues “increased by 5.8% to 789.6 million euros, reflecting the increase in the number of services.” Earnings before tax, interest, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 5.5% compared to the first half of last year, “to 372.1 million euros.” Telecommunications EBITDA grew by 6.5% to 352.8 million.
