TAP transported more than one million passengers between Portugal and Brazil until July, being, on the 13 routes from Lisbon and Porto, 30% above the numbers of 2022, it was announced today.
“TAP has already carried more than one million passengers on its connections between Portugal and Brazil until July 2023 and is even 30% above last year’s figures on the 13 routes from Porto and Lisbon,” the airline said in a statement today.
From October 29, TAP will have 81 weekly flights to Brazil.
The carrier currently flies to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belém, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Fortaleza, Natal, Maceió, Porto Alegre, Recife and Salvador.
The company also highlighted that the relaunch of the Portugal Stopover Program “has played an important role”, allowing stays of up to 10 days in Portugal, on the way to or from other destinations in Europe.
