Santo Domingo – The Dominican-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism (CCITP RD) hosted the interactive panel “Development Perspectives and Legal Security 2023-2026”, which addressed issues related to the importance of legal security in general.
The dialogue, which focused on the current geopolitical context and the need to strengthen the link between the Dominican Republic and Portugal in order to expand and diversify the exchange of goods and services, was attended by speakers specialised in the subject, such as Ivan Ernesto Gaton, expert in geopolitics, ambassador and professor; Yves Ferreira, regional representative for the Caribbean of the European Investment Bank; and Julio Cesar Muñoz, specialist in international markets, partner at EY Law. The panel was moderated by Lorenny Solano, prominent communicator, television producer and social activist.
During the discussion, the experts highlighted issues related to the global European perspective on strengthening relations between the European Union and Latin America, as well as the internationalisation of business from Portugal to the Dominican Republic.
