American rapper 21 Savage has cancelled his performance scheduled for tonight at the SBSR festival, “due to illness”, announced promoter Música no Coração, which organizes the festival taking place until Saturday, near Meco, in Sesimbra.
Papillon, the rapper Rui Pereira, “one of the great values of new Portuguese music”, will take the place of 21 Savage on the festival’s main stage tonight, reinforcing the national presence and preceding the entrance of headliner Slow J.
The daily tickets for today “will also be valid for Saturday the 20th, all you have to do is keep the ticket and show it at the entrance”, adds the promoter.
If they opt for a refund, ticket holders with a date of July 19 “can request it from next Monday”, the 22nd, “until August 18, at the place where they bought it and upon presentation of the valid, unused ticket”, adds Música no Coração.
The concert by 21 Savage, who made his debut in Portugal on the second day of the 28th Super Bock Super Rock (SBSR) festival, taking place at Herdade da Cabeça da Flauta, was part of the tour for the album “American Dream”, released earlier this year.
Today, on the main stage of the SBSR, in addition to Papillon, Mahalia, Slow J and DJ Black Coffee are also performing.
The line-up for the second day of the festival also includes DJ sets by Kenny Mason, Mabel, Aminé, Gryffin, Yen Sung and Chromeo.
To get to the festival, the organizers recommend using public transport.
Until Saturday, the organization has free buses to Meco beach between 10:00 and 19:00.
