Rui Veloso, Carolina Deslandes, Bárbara Bandeira and António Zambujo are this year’s headliners of the Cascais Sea Festivities, which take place between Thursday and September 1, according to the poster released by the City Council.
The concerts, with free admission, will take place on two stages, located in Cascais Bay (main stage) and the Citadel (Sagres stage).
The festivities kick off on Thursday, with Rui Veloso performing at 22:00 on the main stage.
On Friday, at 22:00, Bárbara Bandeira takes the stage and the following day Fernando Daniel, also at the same time. On Sunday, the highlight will be António Zambujo’s performance.
The festival resumes on August 29 with a performance by Bárbara Tinoco, followed the next day by Tiago Bettencourt (August 30) and on the eve of the closing Carolina Deslandes (August 31).
The closing concert of the festivities (September 1st) will be given by the Cascais Symphony, which will play the 40th anniversary of Oceano Pacífico-RFM.
Also on the last day of the festivities, there will be a procession in honor of Our Lady of the Navigators, one of the highlights of the Sea Festivities.
The municipality of Cascais, in the district of Lisbon, informs that beneficiaries of the Viver Cascais card will be able to use public transport free of charge and attend the concerts, next to the main stage, in an exclusive area, by simply picking up a wristband at a kiosk located in the Citadel.
The Festas do Mar site will also have a food and craft area.
