The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) forecasts a slight rise in temperature, but periods of light precipitation are expected in the North of the country.

For Saturday, September 7, the forecast predicts “partly cloudy or clear skies, with periods of increased cloudiness in the North and Center, and light precipitation” in the North. A “slight rise in temperature” is expected in the North and Central regions of the country.

The same conditions are expected for Sunday, September 8. According to IPMA, you can expect “the possibility of light precipitation along the coast of the Northern region,” “morning mist or fog in some coastal areas,” and a “slight rise in maximum temperature” in the North and Central areas of mainland Portugal.

Minimum temperatures will be below 10°C in several districts, such as Braga, Bragança, and Guarda, but maximum temperatures may reach 28°C on both days in Évora, Beja, and Faro.

In Ponta Delgada, Azores, temperatures are expected to range from a low of 20°C to a high of 26°C, while in Funchal, Madeira, temperatures will range from 19°C (minimum) to 26°C (maximum).
