Three 16-year-old teenagers were detained in the early hours of August 29th on suspicion of robbery, which occurred in the union of parishes of Cascais and Estoril. Two other young individuals were taken to the police station and handed over to family members, as they were minors.
The arrests took place around 1:00 AM, following an alert about a robbery involving a bladed weapon, as detailed by the Public Security Police (PSP) in a statement.
The suspects matched the physical descriptions provided by the two victims, and authorities confirmed that the young individuals “had in their possession a bag containing various belongings of the victims.”
The detained teenagers were taken to the detention area of the Cascais Police Division to be presented for their first judicial interrogation.
This operation was carried out by the Lisbon Metropolitan Command of the PSP, through the Cascais Police Division.
