PSP agents seized more than 7,000 doses of cocaine and 44,000 euros in cash.
Three men were arrested on Sunday following an operation by the Public Security Police (PSP) against drug trafficking in Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto. More than 7,000 doses of cocaine and 44,000 euros in cash were seized.
According to a statement issued by the PSP, officers carried out six house searches and seven non-house searches in the two cities. The searches culminated in the seizure of more than 1.5 kilos of cocaine, enough for 7,803 individual doses, 44,230 euros, five vehicles, cell phones, computer equipment, household appliances among other items, digital scales and other items used in the direct sale of drugs.
The arrests took place at 22h00.
The detainees, one aged 32 and the other two aged 33, will be brought before a court for the application of coercive measures.
