Three men, aged 23 and 24, were arrested in the parish of Campo de Ourique, Lisbon, on suspicion of drug trafficking, the Public Security Police (PSP) revealed on Monday in a statement.
According to the security force, the suspects were arrested after they fled without any apparent reason.
As officers pursued the trio on foot, they found that the suspects were in possession of 201 doses of cocaine, 263 doses of heroin, a 6.35 mm caliber firearm, and 4,500 euros in cash.
The suspects have since been presented for their first judicial interrogation, and were given a precautionary measure prohibiting them from traveling to Lisbon and communicating with each other.
