Arrests in Drug Trafficking Case
A 33-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were apprehended for drug trafficking on Tuesday at approximately 9:55 PM in Guimarães. According to a statement released to the press, the Public Security Police (PSP) reported that the arrests followed surveillance conducted on the suspects.
Seized Materials
During the operation, authorities confiscated a significant amount of illegal substances and other items. The haul included enough heroin for about 108 doses, cocaine sufficient for approximately 46 doses, and hashish for one dose. Additionally, two firearms, various ammunition and cartridges, cash, four mobile phones, and a vehicle were seized.
Next Steps for the Suspects
The detained individuals are set to be presented before the Judicial Court of Vila Nova de Famalicão, as indicated in the official report.
