The alert was given at 3:10 PM for a situation involving the assault of a 46-year-old woman by her 31-year-old partner in the Quinta da Cabrinha neighborhood in Lisbon.
According to the PSP (Public Security Police), the victim was hospitalized and is in stable condition. The man was arrested and is expected to appear in court today. It is still to be determined whether this case will be classified as domestic violence or attempted murder.
Members of both the PSP and the Judicial Police were present at the scene.
