Four teenagers suspected of a robbery carried out in a commercial establishment in Faro were identified through images collected from the recently inaugurated CCTV system in the region, in the early hours of the morning, in the city’s nightlife area.
The young individuals, aged between 17 and 19, allegedly stole about 300 euros from an establishment in the center of Faro at 6:00 AM on August 30, according to a statement sent to newsrooms by the Public Security Police (PSP).
After the theft, for which the value of material damages is yet to be determined, the Faro Criminal Investigation Squad carried out “immediate steps to identify the suspects and gather evidence.”
“After viewing the CCTV images covering the theft area, it was possible to identify four suspects,” who were located “in the early hours of the morning, in the nightlife area of Faro,” the statement detailed.
The young individuals were named as defendants.
